Lots of economic news out today.
Canada’s trade balance was way better than expected, jumping to $2.7 billion in December, up from 1.2 billion in November. The good news was that export volumes were up almost 5 per cent so the increase of 4.5 per cent in the value of exports was not price driven.
And exports seem to rise across the board, according to an economic flash from CIBC World Markets this morning.
